About
Practice History
Starting from humble beginnings, the original site consisted of a three bedroom house with a large mechanics garage out the back. When it came up for sale and due to its location Peter saw it as an opportunity to start up his own Veterinary practice. The garage was knocked down and rebuilt to as a small purpose built Clinic and opened its doors in November 1988. It served its function for many years looking after the local community at all hours of the day and night.
By 2000 the clinic had well and truly outgrown itself and was literally bursting at the seams. To provide a better service and more comfort to its patients, a large, purpose built hospital was planned. The original house was moved off site and now resides on a local property. The hospital was then built next to the old clinic and in September 2001 opened its doors. It now comprises of a 36 square building offering an extra large waiting room, consultation rooms, pharmacy, pathology, digital x-ray, ultra sound, run wards, separate kennel rooms for dogs and cats and state of the art surgical faculties.
